Arthur Challis was the father of Kay Challis. He sexually, physically, and emotionally abused her to the point that she developed DID (dissociative identity disorder).

He is likely deceased by the time of Season One. Given the hatred all of Kay's alters have for him and Daddy by extension, it's highly likely one of the personalities murdered him (which is why Kay ended up in the insane asylum).
