"I mean, don't you recognize that? Like... after all that, what the hell did you turn me into? I am a S.T.A.R. Labs security guard! You trated my humanity for a symbol. You robbed me of the chance to define myself. Why the hell would I give a fuck about how people see me? I've been standing before my father this entire time, appearing as the man I used to be, and he won't even embrace me. He can't even look at me. My own father won't even bring himself to hug his own son. All he can think about is fear. You wanted me to walk through this world free? Well, I want to walk the world as the man I was born to be."
—Vic Stone[src]

Victor "Vic" Stone (born c. 1996)[1], known as Cyborg, is a former vigilante crime-fighter whose body was augmented with robotic parts by his father, Silas Stone, and a former member of the Doom Patrol. After learning of Niles Caulder's kidnapping, Vic joined Cliff Steele, Rita Farr, Crazy Jane, and Larry Trainor on a mission to find him.

Vic would be manipulated by Mr. Nobody, who used his artificial intelligence, Grid, against him so that he would knock out his father causing Vic to lose control. Upon regaining their trust, Vic and the others learned that the Chief was responsible for their accidents causing the team to disband, but they came together again to save Niles' daughter, Dorothy.

After returning to his normal size, Vic began a relationship with Roni Evers, but upon discovering that she was a terrorist, she and Vic had a fight. Vic and the team went to a fair to save Niles and Dorothy, but were defeated by Candlemaker.

When he temporarily lost his technology, Vic tried to learn how to continue without his power. Vic tried to put on synthetic skin while helping Laura De Mille stop the Sisterhood of Dada. When the Eternal Flagellation ended, Vic began to make his decisions and put on his synthetic skin. Later, Vic and the others agreed to be a team of superheroes, the new Doom Patrol. Vic, without his technology, looked for a way to contribute to the team, helping them try to stop the Buttpocalypse that will occur in the future for the Butts.

In his search for happiness, Vic sought to reconcile with his old friends, Detroiticons, and was able to bond again with Deric Hayes, his old best friend, who helped him enter Orqwith and save Larry. Amid the conflict with the all-powerful deity Immortus, Vic was finally inspired to regain his technology as Cyborg and helped the team defeat Immortus and the Butts. Following Rita's death, the Doom Patrol was dissolved, with Vic becoming a professor with Deric to help the world in different ways.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Victor Stone was born in 1996 as the son of Silas and Elinore Stone in Detroit. At the age of six, he met Niles Caulder for the first time.[2] Silas did not have almost much time to be with Vic and Silas hardly supported him so Vic made an imaginary friend called Dr. Cowboy that he was just like Silas and gave advice to Vic and would support him in everything.[3] Vic loved to play with his uncle's dog, Bo.

At the age of 10, Vic and Silas went to a toy store to buy a set of chess. Vic was looking for black superhero toys, but there weren't any until he was scolded by a guard. After fixing things, Vic decided to make those around him proud and chose the General Tony toy. At 14, Vic was sad when Bo was old and couldn't play with him anymore.

At some point, Vic created a profile on Cazh, a dating app, but he did this as a joke.[4] During his school days, Vic met Deric Hayes, who became his best friend and befriended Calvin and Marcus, forming the Detroiticons. Vic and his friends created the Mister Invincible robot together all night, ate at Pizzatron-3000, and played Dungeons and Dragons, pitting Calvin against him during the game.

Becoming Cyborg[]

While in high school, Vic joined the football team. After a game, Vic broke his leg, worrying Silas that Vic might not play anymore. In his time as a football gamer, his parents told him he should spend more time with his friends. Unfortunately, this led to Vic getting in trouble with his friends and caused his grades to drop, ultimately leading to his parents grounding him and suspending him from the football team for three weeks as punishment. On June 13, 2014, while arguing with his mother in her lab over his punishment, Vic angrily threw some chemicals across the room, which caused an explosion that killed Elinore, and left Vic severely injured.[5] Silas then took Vic to S.T.A.R. Labs in the hopes of saving his life, which he managed to do by infusing Vic with cybernetic enhancements.

In his recovery, Vic learned that Deric, Calvin, and Marcus carried Elinore's coffin. Shortly after the accident, Niles visited to check up on Vic offered him the chance to come to Cloverton with him, however Vic declined the offer telling Niles that he had other plans.[1] Around the same time, Vic also began fighting crime to help keep Detroit safe.[1]

Working to find Niles Caulder[]

While operating as Cyborg, Vic helped to save Patty from a robber and his accomplice. Getting critiqued on his work by his father, Vic went into privacy mode. He surveyed the news, hearing of things happening in Cloverton, Ohio, where he recalled Dr. Niles Caulder to be from. Knowing this, he traveled to the town, tying up a loose albino donkey. He met Cliff Steele, who he eventually learnt knew Dr. Caulder. The donkey suddenly spit up Cliff's friend Jane, and they rushed her back to Doom Manor. Jane suddenly came to, and Vic was introduced to a number of her personalities. One particular one, Baby Doll, was scared of Cliff, but liked Vic, so he stayed to watch over Baby Doll while Cliff went to look for answers, on how to get information from Jane's other personalities. Vic entertained her for a while, before pressing for answers. He accidentally brought out Katy, who chased him from the room. A number of Jane's more violent personalities surfaced, attacking both Vic and Cliff. They eventually locked her in a room, while Vic went outside to have a look at the donkey. He noticed that it had a keyhole-shaped throat, he and Larry were able to convince Rita to use her amorphous abilities to have a look. As she began looking into the donkeys mouth, both Larry and Vic lost their grip on her, and she fell through the portal. Because of this, the two men were sucked in

inside the donkey the three found themselves in an alternate dimension. In front of them were specially-labeled headphones from "Nobody" begins Narrating their actions. They were all suddenly sent to their own hallucinations, Vic reliving the night of his accident his mother's subsequent death. Distraught for a moment, all three were soon saved by the Negative Spirit and taken back to the normal world, along with the town of Cloverton. Vic's father suddenly turned up, scolding Vic for having been so reckless. Urging he return home, Vic asked for a few days to sort his situation out. He sought out a guest room, running into Rita, who he complimented for having been a star during their spontaneous mission.[1]

When they discover a clue of where he could be, the chief manages to convince them that in 1948 in Paraguay, Eric Morden was with the donkey and they discover that he was a member of Brotherhood of Evil, a group of supervillains of the 50s. Vic cannot convince his father to use his jet instead they use the bus to travel to Paraguay and they argue all the way and Larry crashes the bus, Vic and Cliff push the van to a nearby motel, in hopes of repairing it, they take the bus to repair it, and In the morning he told Rita that it was time to go and Flit teleported Cliff and Larry to Paraguay., Meanwhile, Vic spoke with Rita telling her that it was time to act and that he is more focused on the search for the chief. Vic apologizes to Rita, and they talk about his father and his over-protectiveness. Larry, Cliff and Jane return, and then continue back to the manor, by way of his father's jet and Vic hung up on his dad before he was finished talking with him.[5]

Overpowered by the Hoodmen, Vic discharges an ion grenade as a last resort, disintegrating his attackers they all leave Doom Manor and see that the Decreator is already here.[2]

Angry at Kipling, the team threatened him to find out how to stop the Decreator, but it was impossible. When Niles returned, Vic and the others learned that Niles and Nobody made an alliance to stop the end of the world, but Vic disagreed. Vic talked to Niles about what happened while he was fixing his arm and Vic wanted Niles to stay, but he found out that when it is all over Nobody will take him back. Vic, Rita, and Kipling searched for the Rewritten Book to summon the Recreator.

The group managed to find a pug, which was the rewritten book, and Vic along with the others saw the Recreator being summoned, managing to defeat the Decreator and saving the world. Upon returning to the manor, Vic, Cliff, Larry, and Jane decided to protect Niles from being kidnapped by Nobody, but they failed, causing Vic's arm to accidentally explode. Vic did not allow Cliff to activate the safe mode because that would call Silas, but Cliff helped his friend to repair his arm by making Vic angry.[6]

Trusting his father[]

Jane, Vic, and Cliff research the Doom Patrol

Vic, Jane, and Cliff investigate the Doom Patrol.

When Cliff asked for help in viewing his daughter's profile, Vic refused to help him because he had activated safe mode. Vic and Cliff helped Jane search for information on the Doom Patrol until Rita confessed to meeting the Doom Patrol and Jane traveled with Larry and Rita to visit the Doom Patrol leaving Vic and Cliff alone. When Silas arrived, Vic asked Cliff for help to find out what his father does during his review, but he refused to help him if he did not help him with Clara's profile. Upon awakening, Vic saw that his father now trusted him and Vic began to trust Silas. Shortly after to say thank you, Vic helped Cliff get into Clara's profile.[7]

Looking for clues[]

Vic called the team for a reunion, but everyone was busy. Vic began to receive several messages thanks to the fact that he had access to all the information that he had not seen in years. Vic saw that the messages were from the Cazh app. Vic got mad at Silas for hiding all information about his life from him when it was normal. For entertainment, Vic decided to use Cazh to get a girlfriend, but couldn't find any until Cliff started attacking him and Vic, Jane, and the Negative Spirit fought back.

Doom Patrol in therapy

Vic and the team go to therapy.

To overcome their problems, Vic and the team went to therapy. During the therapy, Vic expressed his fear that his technology could control him and that his father is hiding things from him. Vic was shocked to see the paint that Jane drew with him killing everyone including Silas. When Cliff went crazy, Vic stopped him, and he, Rita, and Larry discovered that Cliff had been manipulated by a rat, which made Cliff behave like this all day.[4]

Vic repaired Cliff's nutrient tank and explained everything that happened, but Cliff made fun of him why Vic can kill them. Vic and Larry saw a cake appear in the manor, which had the name of Niles. To find out who sent the cake, Vic and Larry traveled to a place called Danny the Street. The duo entered a cabaret, where there were transgender people. Vic found out from Maura Lee Karupt that Danny was the street. Vic still couldn't believe what was happening. Upon leaving, he and Larry discovered that an organization called the Bureau of Normalcy was looking for him and Larry knew the organization very well.

Vic and Larry found out that Danny was an old friend of Niles, and he would die if the joy did not return to the street because of the bureau. Vic wanted to help Danny, but Maura revealed himself as ex-agent Morris Wilson and resigned from the bureau since he had accepted himself as he is. Vic, Larry, and Danny convinced Maura to team up to stop the agents. Vic and the Dannyzens happily watched as Maura and Larry beat Agent Darren Jones. As the Dannyzens and Larry celebrated their victory, Vic spoke to Danny about Niles and Mr. Nobody. Vic received a comic containing a clue to find Niles and Vic and Larry were sent back to the manor.[8]

Distrusting Grid[]

While Cliff was on Jane's mind to rescue her and Larry was passed out Vic and Rita chatted and Vic told Rita everything they learned from Danny and showed her the comic that Danny gave her and Rita noticed that something is missing from that comic They later found out that a man named Beard Hunter who was passed out and Vic and Rita tied him up in a chair to ask him questions. When the Beard Hunter woke up he was surprised by Vic and Rita and Beard Hunter revealed that his real name is Ernest Franklin and Vic and Rita discovered that Ernest was looking for Niles and Ernest revealed his powers due to a hormonal disorder and ate beards and ate He has a bit of Niles' beard and he can know everything about Niles in space and time and Ernest tasted Vic's beard and Vic told him not to touch it and Vic and Rita talked about what they will do with Ernest.

Vic and Rita kept chatting and they realized that Ernest broke free and Ernest managed to eat some hairs of Vic's beard to control him and Ernest was going to escape but Vic and Rita stopped him and Vic was going to shoot him but he was not in control and Ernest revealed that he now has control and Grid did not obey Vic, this enraged Vic because Ernest knew all about Vic and his weaknesses and also controls his system and Vic got upset and Vic deactivates the weapon he pronounced the keyword "Elinore" and the gun fired into the lab and Ernest celebrate that he defeated the mighty Cyborg and Vic and Rita let the Beard Hunter escape.

Vic believed was something wrong with his system and did not trust Grid and control him and Rita convinced Vic not to let Grid control him and that he can control and Rita told Vic that he put a tracker on the Beard Hunter to find him and Vic was surprised by Rita and they saw Jane, Cliff and Larry wake up and Cliff asked what had happened and Rita and Vic replied that is a long story and they asked Cliff what had happened in Jane´s mind and Cliff said what he saw shouldn´t tell but they should know that Jane is fine.

Kidnapping by the Bureau of Normalcy[]

Vic disconnected Grid and he and Jane decided to go together to find Flex Mentallo. Vic and Jane went on the bus and in the park they talked about Silas and Vic revealed to Jane that he disconnected Grid and Jane got off to defend a girl from an abusive man and Vic met an old woman and Vic saw her elbow and he was hypnotized and sent to the Bureau of Normalcy and it was all a trap and the Bureau captured Vic and Jane was left screaming Vic's name worried about her friend. Vic woke up trapped in one of the cells of the Ant Farm watched by his old enemy Darren Jones and Vic was enraged at being locked up yelling at them.

Vic was tortured and the Bureau wanted to know what they can get out of the great superhero Cyborg and Vic was imprisoned in cell 721 and there he met another prisoner called "722" and Grid had been reactivated and explained to Vic that there is a protocol to repair The damaged tissue and Grid had already discussed it with Silas and Grid played the video, where Vic caused the laboratory explosion, repeatedly, and Grid activated an emergency shutdown which made Vic begins to freak out. Grid asked Vic if he wanted him to run another diagnosis several times, Vic rejected him and Grid asked the same question many times and "722" told Grid that Vic had already told him no, and Vic was surprised that "722" listened and Grid He told him that his AI is real, and Grid kept repeating if he wanted another diagnosis and Vic went crazy yelling at Grid to stop. When the Doom Patrol and Silas arrived at the Bureau, Cliff, Larry, the negative spirit and Jane were captured and Silas went to see Vic and they informed him that Vic had gone crazy and Silas entered Vic's cell and Vic hugged Silas and Vic He asked Silas what happened, Silas reported everything to him. Vic cries for Silas.

Vic saw that Silas had a chip where Grid was and Vic was scared because he did not believe it was Grid, Grid then showed Vic a video where Silas spoke that he preferred to save Vic instead of Elinore and that Silas planned everything that ended by making Vic mad. Unleashing his anger towards his father, Vic attacked Silas, nearly beating him to death. Vic knocked his father unconscious and saw that the chip was actually Grid and saw a congratulation, Vic discovered that his Grid was actually Mr. Nobody manipulating him and Nobody appeared before Vic, proud that he had asked Nobody what he had done, and Nobody revealed that he did nothing, and it was him. Nobody reminded him of first time they met, time they, when he warned him not to follow him. but Vic kept following him, this choice taught him his consequences, ending up almost killing Silas. Vic went to see Silas and hugged him crying, Nobody smiled and left.

Vic talked to Silas about what was happening with his technology and discovered that Silas could save Elinore, but Niles convinced him to save him as he could do extraordinary things. Vic was enraged at his father and Niles because his mother had remained alive, so he withdrew from the hospital to join his friends. Upon returning to the manor, Vic realized there was a fake Vic and soon discovered that it was actually Nobody, who sent them all including Vic to White Space. Vic wanted to attack Nobody, but they couldn't defeat him and the only option to get rid of him was if Niles told a secret truth. With no other options, Niles revealed that he was responsible for all their accidents, angering everyone, and they were sent back to the manor.

Vic and the team discovered that Niles was asking for their help traveling to a painting to save Danny and his daughter, who were locked there by Nobody. He and the others accepted the mission, but they would do it only for Danny and the Chief's daughter. Upon entering the painting, Vic and the team observed a giant cockroach named Ezekiel devastating the place.

Vic was reunited with the Beard Hunter, who was also trapped. He made a plan to get inside Ezekiel to survive a radioactive blast to get out of the painting along with Niles's daughter. Vic tried to save Cliff from Admiral Whiskers to no avail. As part of the plan, Nobody returned to the narration so that Vic will be able to enter inside Ezekiel. After the cockroach left the painting, Vic used his laser to kill Ezekiel to go out with the team. Vic and the others realized that they were now in miniature size and saw that Larry was the only one who stayed at their normal size.

Vic attended the tea party of Dorothy and Baby Doll, who stuck stickers on him and Cliff on their backs, although they would notice shortly after. While eating, Vic was informed by Cliff that Niles would give him the sense of touch, but since he was dying due to the lack of the Longevity Talisman, Cliff mentioned that no one could help him, suggesting to go for Silas, something Vic accepted, stating that they would first ask him nicely.

In the park in Detroit, Vic and Cliff tried to ask Silas for help, who refused because if he improved Cliff, he would become an accomplice to Niles, whom he saw as a criminal, apologizing for Cliff's accident. Near Roni's apartment, Vic was in his car with Cliff, who believed they were going to fight crime together, suggesting to work under the name "Steele & Stone", an idea which he denied, telling him of his plan to meet with Roni, giving him a swandich, a plan that Cliff rejected, advising him to simply say "I'm stupid, I fucked up and I'm sorry". Vic headed to the apartment, saying the phrase to Roni, managing to reconcile with her.

A helpful film reveals that scants are pink humanoid pests that place bad ideas in people's heads, and this causes a pink substance only Scants can see called "idiot" to come out of the infected ears. Scants use that to create uma jelly which gives the queen powers. The only way to fix things is to kill the queen. From the whole group, Miranda appears to be the only one not infected while the rest decide they want to help kill the queen by going into the painting.

Labs finds him because he freed Roni by making Vic furious. Vic agreed to go on vacation to Codsville to rest and help Rita out of a flowerpot. After searching for Cliff, Vic and the team went to Codsville. Vic spent the entire distance trying to connect his phone to keep looking for information on Roni. He talked to Cliff about Roni and got mad at him because he kept saying that he still liked Roni.

Vic kept trying to convince everyone to stop Garguax for Niles, but none agreed, and Vic revealed Cliff's brain problem. Vic took it out on everyone, prompting the team to break up. Seeing that there was no connection, Vic angrily threw his phone. Upon meeting in the bing bang room, Vic saw Jane, Rita, and Cliff dancing Forever Young, so Vic danced with them, reconciling their friendship. The dance was interrupted by Samuelson, who began using a weapon to attack them, and Vic tried to defend himself without success causing him and the team to be killed.

Vic and Elinore talks about Roni at the Afterlife

Vic reunites with Elinore.

In the afterlife, Vic, Rita, Cliff, and Jane became frustrated at being killed, initiating a plan to attack the watchman, before collapsing and their bodies being taken to the Tunnel of Souls. In his purgatory, Vic found himself on a mountain, discovering that his mother's soul was there, getting excited to see her again as he listened as she and Silas loved to climb the mountain leaving a circle of rocks. Vic told Elinore about his problems with Roni by giving her hope as she gave him advice, revealing that Silas chose to give him better cybernetics over another way to save him, surprising Vic, who demanded answers, but since he saw a light so he could continue living, Vic could only share one last hug with his mother, leaving the place.

Vic woke up in the tunnel, noticing Cliff and Jane awake, joining forces to get out of the tunnel and kill several Watchers, reuniting with Rita, Larry, Charles Rowland and Edwin Payne, with whom they fled the Night Nurse in a boat and receiving a green vomit, but luckily, the group managed to come back to life, saying goodbye to Dorothy and Vic continued to investigate Roni. As soon as Dorothy left, the group unexpectedly met a time traveler, who did not remember her mission, since she was only looking for the deceased Niles, showing her time machine as evidence and since it did not work, the team left Vic in charge of the machine to repair it, calling Silas for answers.

Vic argues with Silas

Vic confronts Silas about not giving him the synthetic skin.

Vic realized his skin was torn off, before covering himself with his jacket when Silas arrived, talking about how he met Elinore in the afterlife, which confused Silas until Vic angrily asked what he meant by another way to be saved, so Silas confessed that he could put synthetic skin on him, angering Vic for looking normal, even though Silas defended himself because that way Vic could defend himself and Vic confronted his father about his decisions, asking him to leave the manor. Out of nowhere, Vic kept watching as his skin began to rot, causing him to start turning into a zombie from the Night Nurse's vomit.

Doom Patrol Zombie

Vic and the team turn into zombies in front of Laura and Kipling.

Turned into a zombie, Vic reunited with the team, who were also turned into zombies, finding the traveler, who discovered her name was Laura, and Willoughby Kipling, who enlisted the team's help to save the head of Niles from the clutches of Darren Jones. Vic and the zombie team headed to Darren's barn, refusing to listen to his evil plan and Vic unleashed a vulgarity he had never said. When Darren transformed into a Were-Butt, the team brutally confronted his army of Butts, getting Niles' head, which they had to eat to return to normal, refusing to talk about it any further and getting angry at Cliff for wanting to remember. Vic returned to his room, looking at himself with a piece of mirror to see what he would look like on his normal skin.

Facing his Identity[]

Laura talks with the team about the Sisterhood of Dada

Vic and the team learn about the Sisterhood of Dada.

Shortly after returning to normal, Vic decided to help Cliff fight his Parkinson's, giving him medicine he bought online and warning him about pirate sites on the internet, before happily seeing that his technology had returned, leaving Cliff alone to call Silas. Vic learned that Silas turned off his technology's tracker, preventing S.T.A.R Labs from tracking him, which Vic was grateful for and accepting Silas' decision to save him with cybertechnology, ending their call, but Vic had doubts about the synthetic skin. At a team meeting, Vic and the group were informed by Laura about how they had let the dangerous Sisterhood of Dada escape in the Ant-Farm break-out, receiving the mission to monitor the Sisterhood and know which was their "Eternal Flagellation" world plan, so Vic, Jane, Cliff and Larry accepted, in exchange for Laura leaving after doing the mission.

Using Darren's book as a guide, the team headed into the woods in search of the Sisterhood, before Vic and Jane realized that Cliff was high from excessive pill use, causing Cliff to try to gut a "pimple" from Larry, causing the bus to crash and ending up being sucked into Shelley Byron's mind. When Cliff ran away, Vic, having no signal, tried to chase him, followed by Jane, but the group was put on separate paths due to the fog in the area. In his failed search, Vic met Lloyd Jefferson, whom he told that he was looking to join the Sisterhood, listening to his question of "why are you?", confusing Vic, clarifying that he was there to protect and serve, Lloyd's response was mocked, criticizing him for believing that Vic was powerful as Cyborg.

Vic talks to Lloyd about the Eternal Flagellation

Vic tries to question Lloyd.

Vic tried to question him about the Flagellation, although Lloyd demanded the answer to the question he asked, answering it himself as he knew himself well for everything he suffered in the past, angering Vic due to prejudice towards him, remembering that if there had not been if it were for him, Lloyd would never be free, an accent that Lloyd took as an oppressor. After Cliff said Laura's name, Vic was attacked by Lloyd's blizzards and his teasing of not knowing each other, mentioning that the Flagellation was important, making Vic cry, before the group snapped back to reality and returned to the manor with Larry's son, Paul Trainor, injured. Vic denied Rita to face the Sisterhood again, returning to the manor and seeing that Lloyd left him a mannequin of his head, which angered him when he remembered his question.

Having doubts about his identity as Cyborg, Vic tried to ask Cliff for fatherly advice, however, focused on gambling, online games, and his hot date with Ginger, Vic left the manor to start a journey of discovery, crossing a mountain to go to the old tree of Elinore. While fans took photos of him, Vic sat in the tree, remembering the words of Lloyd, Elinore and Silas, deciding to finally achieve his happiness, heading to Orsus Labs, where he arranged an appointment with Dr. Chalmers to obtain his synthetic skin, filling out paperwork that asked questions about his interest in synthetic skin.

Vic talks to Dr

Vic talks to Chalmers about getting synthetic skin.

In Chalmers' office, Vic greets the doctor, who mentions being a friend of Elinore and remembers Vic's childhood before the accident, marveling when she saw how Silas turned Vic into Cyborg. Vic told Chalmers that he was interested in the synthetic skins that Orsus Labs offered, but learned that if the synthetic skin was put on, his cybernetic parts would come off, causing Vic to debate whether it was what he was looking for. Seeking advice, Vic contacted Roni, who was in a forest, talking to him about his decision to remove his equipment to have a normal life, something that surprised Roni, arguing with him about how Vic could use his technology to stop criminals. and save people, being respected, even though Vic claimed to be recognized for who he really is. Vic realized that Roni kept offering him to continue with his cyber technology before the call was lost and in search of bliss, Vic decided to have surgery to be normal.

Eternal Flagellation[]

The Doom Patrol is struck by the Eternal Flagellation

Vic, Cliff, Jane and Larry watch the beginning of the Eternal Flagellation.

During his surgery, Vic was placed on the stretcher with anesthesia to fall asleep during the operation, however, he suddenly raised his arms and was transported to an abandoned place along with Jane and Cliff, with whom he laughed at the situation because both they were high, watching Laura and Larry arrive. The group, except for Laura, began to dance strangely for control of the Sisterhood of Dada and the four were placed on their knees so that Laura remembered her past, running into Rita, who transported everyone with a fog towards the manor, where they found a giant egg from which a dada bird in the shape of Malcolm DuPont hatched. After Laura's escape and the release of different dada birds, Vic and the group could not do anything when the Eternal Flagellation began, becoming confused by the situation because Vic was drugged, but was sent to his subconscious by a dada bird.

The team travels in his subconscious

Vic and the group travel in a colorful tunnel.

Vic was sent to an old memory of his past, in which he was looking for a black superhero, buying General Tony and Silas scolded him to never make mistakes, feeling bad for that day, although he ended up changing places with Tony, becoming a toy. At home, Vic attempted to talk to his past self for becoming a soldier as a child and not enjoying his childhood, before he was saved by Cliff and Larry, who placed Elinore's old rock in young Vic's window. Vic returned to his normal form and arrived at The Underground with Cliff and Larry to rescue Jane, who had become a puppet. The group ended up traveling through a car cake in a colorful tunnel created by the Sisterhood and managed to escape their subconscious to return to the manor, discovering their subconscious in a pillow fort.

While they were eating cake, Vic saw Larry promise his subconscious to love again and Cliff fight with his subconscious for selling his friends' things and taking drugs, something that made Vic decide to leave because he did not want to confront his shame, being followed by the General Tony, refusing to talk about his emotions. Vic listened to General Tony remember that since his childhood he was always a soldier, losing the happiness of childhood because of Silas's advice and to impress everyone, suggesting that he make his own decisions and make mistakes, frustrating Vic, emphasizing that It was true, crying because of his lost childhood.

Vic wakes up with his synthetic skin

Vic looks at the synthetic skin on his body.

When Vic was able to overcome his trauma, he saw the dada bird return to take Tony back to Vic's memory. After Jane destroyed the pillow fort after learning that Kay Challis told her that he didn't want her in his mind , Vic, Cliff and Larry watched her leave the fort, realizing that the Eternal Flagellation ended when the fog dispersed, and they were returned to the places they were before overcoming their traumas. Vic woke up in Orsus Labs after his surgery, noting that Silas was there to see him, before Vic realized that the operation was successful, gaining his synthetic skin and losing his cybertechnology.
