Garguax was an alien warrior who was employed by the Brotherhood of Evil to assassinate Rita Farr.
Biography[]
Employed by the Brotherhood[]
In 1949 and due to his status as a world destroyer, Garguax was employed by the Brotherhood of Evil members, The Brain and Monsieur Mallah, to eliminate Rita Farr who was believed to be a member of a possible army that Niles Caulder could use against the Brotherhood.
Garguax along with Samuelson stayed on the Codsville Mountain Resort waiting for a signal from the Brain on the transponder that would indicate that the target was close enough to eliminate.
Giving up on his mission[]
While at the beginning, Garguax found himself focused on his mission. By 1957, he and Samuelson saw a newspaper article that said that the Brotherhood of Evil was defeated by the Chief's Doom Patrol. In 1991, Garguax finally hit a breaking point and stopped being invested on his mission.
Meeting the Caulder's creations[]
Many years later and after the death of Niles Caulder, his test subjects arrived at the Resort in order to deal with their problems and met Garguax. Garguax met Cliff Steele at a sauna and the two bonded about how much they missed their old days, soon realizing that they both also hated Niles Caulder. Garg reencountered the group while having a meal, with Samuelson recognizing them as people related to Niles which included Rita Farr.
Despite this revelation, Garguax didn't want to fulfill his mission as he thought they were good people and the Brain hadn't showed his signal in years. He then convinced Samuelson to leave the resort and their mission. Unfortunately, just as they were leaving, the old transponder bosted a signal indicating that it was time to hit the target, much to Garguax's surprise. He ran inside the resort in order to warn the group about Samuelson but was quickly killed by him.
