- "Repeat after me, please. The [...] mind [...] is [...] the [...] limit."
- —Von Fuchs to Eric Morden[src]
Sturmbannführer Heinrich Von Fuchs was a Nazi scientist who performed experiments on human beings to "enhance" them. During his experiments, Von Fuchs made a deal with Eric Morden to obtain a Longevity Talisman until Niles Caulder stole it, leaving Von Fuchs weakened, who would seek revenge, founding an army of extensions of it. Years later, Von Fuchs confronted Caulder's creations until he was killed by Crazy Jane, turned into Silver Tongue.
Biography[]
Experiments in Paraguay[]
As a child in Bavaria, Von Fuchs was interested by the idea of enhancing the human body. As a doctor, he attempted to implement his ideas (possibly by creating a 4-armed man, though this may not be true), but was shunned as a psychopath. However, when World War II began, Von Fuchs' ideas were given more credence.[1]
After the war, Heinrich Von Fuchs moved to Paraguay (allegedly "for health reasons") and adopted the alias of "Señor Martinez", a so-called village cobbler. However, he continued his "theoretical experimentation" on humans, which attracted the attention of a man known as Mr. Eric Morden.[2]
Creation of Mr. Nobody[]

Von Fuchs experiments on Eric Morden.
In exchange for "something of great value," Von Fuchs subjected him to a procedure that would later be named "The Morden". Von Fuchs instructed Morden to repeat the phrase "the mind is the limit", as he exposed Morden to an unknown energy in a chamber.[2] This was supposed to attract metahuman powers from alternate dimensions, though the details are unknown. Before the experiment was finished, however, he was interrupted and shot by Niles Caulder, who proceeded to steal Morden's payment from Von Fuchs.[1] However, the procedure was a success, and Eric Morden was christened Mr. Nobody.
Heinrich survived the attack too, and continued his experimental work on humans. Eventually, he opened Fuchtopia, a facility where people could pay to be the subjects of Heinrich's experiments, which would grant them metahuman powers. Through unknown means, Von Fuchs had his mind spread across multiple bodies, allowing him to maintain Fuchtopia on his own. By this point, Fuchs had become aged and decrepit, and was confined to a small wood and glass box, powered manually by a crank. One of the procedures offered in Fuchtopia was the Morden, which was a replication of the experiment performed on Eric Morden in 1948. Another procedure offered in Fuchtopia was one for magnetic feet, which evidently was much more affordable.[1]

Powers and abilities[]
Powers[]
- Metahuman physiology: Through unknown means, Von Fuchs had his mind spread across multiple bodies, allowing him to run and operate Fuchtopia without the need for hiring staff.[1]
Abilities[]
- Scientific knowledge: Von Fuchs was infamous for his experiments to enhance ordinary humans. He used this to transform Mr. Morden into the strange being now known as Mr. Nobody,[2] and Steve into a hybrid creature made of animals, vegetables and minerals.[1]
- Psychology: As seen during his confrontation with Jane, Heinrich was able to immediately deduce Jane (Kay Challis)'s true psychological condition and accurately figure out the root core reason of how her psychosis happened despite meeting her for the first time.
