Kate Steele was the wife of Cliff Steele and the mother of Clara Steele.

Biography

Kate was married to Cliff Steele, and in the early 1980s they had a daughter, Clara. By 1988, the two had grown apart but still remained married, Kate secretly having an affair with Bump Weathers, a member of Cliff's racing pit crew. During one race, Kate hung off of Bump, Cliff seeing from the track. After he finished, winning the race, he gave Kate a dirty look, knocked Bump out, and begun celebrating.

The two separated for some time, but eventually Cliff drunk called Kate, promising that he'd do better. She agreed to try again, and he picked the two of them up. On their way home, a truck suddenly appeared in the middle of the road, causing their car to crash, decapitating Kate.
