History[]
Conflict with S.T.A.R. Labs[]
After the 9/11 attack, Dr. Chalmers joined Orsus Labs to help injured people, resigning from S.T.A.R. Labs, who used their cyber technology to turn different people into cyber weaponry.
Cyborg Surgery[]
In 2021, Vic Stone became interested in leaving her cybernetic armor and obtaining a synthetic skin at Orsus Labs, scheduling an appointment to do so, meeting with Chalmers, who was an old friend of Elinore Stone. In the office, Chalmers was surprised by Vic's technology, explaining to him that in order to have synthetic skin, his powers and Grid had to be removed, suggesting contacting a family member or someone close to support him in his decision. Vic contacted his runaway ex-girlfriend Roni Evers to ask her opinion, debating how he should protect the world in his technological way, even though Vic wanted to determine his identity and not just because he was Cyborg, before miss the call with Roni.
Agreeing to seek his bliss, Vic agreed to the surgery, being attended to by Chalmers and other scientists from Orsus Labs, but suddenly, Vic was transported to an old place by the Sisterhood of Dada to be forced to participate in the Eternal Flagellation with his friends. After overcoming his past and the end of the Flagellation, Vic returned to the surgery room, where he was seen by Silas Stone, who saw Vic wake up after his surgery with his synthetic skin successfully attached. Vic spoke to Silas about the reason for leaving his Cyborg identity behind, frustrating Silas for being criticized for his choices to save him, although Vic blamed his father for turning him into a S.T.A.R. Labs soldier, deciding to make his own decisions with normal skin, leaving Orsus Labs.
