"That is a very extremely powerful piece of magic."
"Maybe it once was, but with those two knob-heads squatting in it, you might as well have wiped your cock across the Mona Lisa.

The Painting That Ate Danny is a magical piece of art that is capable of absorbing anything. The painting was used by the Brotherhood of Dangerous Animals to lock Danny the Street inside until his release and the painting was taken as an exhibit to Horst Eismann's gallery.

History[]

Used for the Brotherhood of Dangerous Animals[]

Seeking revenge against Niles Caulder, the Brotherhood of Dangerous Animals stole a magical painting, which they used to absorb Danny the Street inside along with Dorothy Spinner, although the Dannyzens escaped. Inside the painting, the Brotherhood, with the help of Ernest Franklin, attempted to capture Dorothy without success, turning Ezekiel and Admiral Whiskers into giants, and leaving Mr. Nobody powerless.

Somehow, Niles Caulder acquired the painting, calling his former patients to ask for their help in rescuing his daughter, a mission they accepted and by staring at the painting, the team was able to enter. Carrying out their rescue plan, the team planned to enter Ezekiel to resist a radioactive explosion that Larry Trainor and the Negative Spirit would cause to escape the painting together. With everyone inside the cockroach, Larry blew up the painting, escaping with the spirit, leaving Nobody and Franklin trapped, and freeing Danny from his captivity.

Acquired by Horst Eismann[]

Three weeks after the battle, the team was in miniature size, while Vic Stone regularly inspected the painting to ensure that Nobody did not escape due to all the suffering he went through because of him. Niles contacted Willoughby Kipling to return them to their normal size, offering Kipling the painting in exchange for an elixir, which was the property of Horst Eismann, to make them grow, a proposal that he accept, although it would not be enough because the painting had Nobody and Ernest trapped. Niles, agreeing to give up his Longevity Talisman, had Kipling return the team to its normal size and then took the painting along with the talisman to Eismann Gallery.

Invasion of Scants[]

Within his new life in painting, Nobody left Ernest and left to participate in an animated series. Months later, Eismann's gallery was invaded by Scants, which infested all of its exhibits, including the painting, which was sent to the Doom Manor, being discovered by "Miranda", Vic, Roni Evers and Larry, who recognized the painting as "The Painting That Ate Danny". Upon opening the box, Vic, Roni and Larry were infected by the Scant Gas, except for Miranda, until Kipling warned them that the gas made them have bad ideas that would kill them, setting out to kill the Scant Queen inside the painting to save them and eliminate the invasion, however, the quartet was placed on their mission.

In the painting, the group encountered Ernest, who was trying to camouflage himself from the Scants, until they were captured by the Scant Queen and began sucking their ideas to feed on Uma jelly. Before the group died, "Miranda" turned into Silver Tongue to kill the Scants, freeing everyone and leaving the painting behind.
