Scants are an infectious pest that cause their victims to have bad ideas.
History[]
A swarm of Scants infected a white canvas. The drones patrolled the landscape for their queen. Vic Stone, Roni Evers, Miranda, Larry Trainor, and Willoughby Kipling entered the painting, but were soon detected by the Scants, who took them to their queen. Their idyat began to be harvested into uma jelly, before Silver Tongue and Lucy Fugue made short work of them and killed the queen, killing them all.[1]
Characteristics[]
Scants live by placing bad ideas in people's heads. Once these ideas become accepted as good and the victims begun becoming erratic,oblivious and deliriously positive, the desired substance called idyat is secreted from the person's ears, which the drones would then collect and convert into uma jelly and give to the queen of their colony.
Once harvested and purified and given to the Scant Queen, the Queen begins to develop immense superhuman powers.[1]
