Sheryl Trainor (died c. 1989) was the ex-wife of Larry Trainor and the mother of Paul Trainor and Gary Trainor.

Biography

At some point, Sheryl married Larry Trainor and had two sons with him, despite his true sexual preferences. Larry never told her of his affair with John Bowers, though she was aware that Larry had been spending time away from her and their kids. After her husband's plane crash, she split from him and left to raise her kids on her own.

After Gary comitted suicide, Larry goes to Gary's funeral and reunites with Paul. While talking, Paul reveals to Larry how Cheryl was a wreck after Larry was presumed dead. She eventually moved on, but one of the men in her life told her about how Larry was likely alive and just part of a government cover-up. Cheryl became obsessed with conspiracy theories and even got Gary into it. Paul instead got out and tried to be a hero.

Years later, she died of an unspecified form of cancer in 1989.
