Specs was a cosmonaut who went into the Space at 1955 in a spacecraft designed by Niles Caulder. He was also a good friend with Valentina Vostok and Zip Callahan.
In the space, he died but a extraterrestrial spore kept him functional. This resulted in him seemingly acting in a extremely childish manner and running around rough housing with Zip. When someone attempts to talk to him, he would automatically repeat lines something akin to pre-recorded message due to him technically no longer being alive.
After he came back to Earth, the spore lost its effect and he died. He was then buried alongside Zip in the Doom Manor's backyard.
