- "I was saving up for the Morden... but I just couldn't wait! I mean Mister Nobody, right!? But, who's got those kind of ducats? So... I'm getting magnet feet instead."
- —Steve Larson to Cliff Steele and Larry Trainor[src]
Steve Larson is a man who went to Paraguay to visit Heinrich Von Fuchs in Fuchtopia, where he gained superpowers. He became a fusion of animal, vegetable and mineral, and was nicknamed Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man after a failed attempt at armed robbery.[1]
Biography[]
Origin[]
Through unknown means, Steve learned about Fuchtopia, and began saving money to get a procedure called "The Morden". Eventually, he grew impatient and opted for a less expensive procedure, which would grant him "Magnet Feet" which he intended to use to climb walls. Steve went to Paraguay, where he met Cliff Steele, Jane and Larry Trainor while waiting for a bus to Fuchtopia. Upon arrival in Fuchtopia, Steve and his new friends sat through an over 3 hour long puppet show about Heinrich Von Fuchs's life. Steve seemed to enjoy it, as he got frustrated when Jane spoke over the show. He also acquired a hot dog and tea at some point during the show.
Jane and Cliff got in a fight with Von Fuchs, which ended in the scientist's death. As a result, Steve was left to sit in the chamber for his procedure for too long, resulting in his body being drastically changed. He gained a secondary head, which took the form of a purple dinosaur, while his left arm became a matching purple animal claw. His right arm and leg were changed into a tree-like bark, with his fingers being made of a green and leafy vegetable, while his right foot was shaped like a claw. His left leg and left bicep, however, were changed into a crystal-like mineral, and retained a more human shape. He thought this was "cool".[2]
Brief Criminal Career[]
Much later, Steve attempted to rob a convenience store. With both of his heads disguised by stockings, Steve attempted to hold the cashier at gunpoint. This went south, however, when his dinosaur head became aggravated, and began to bite on Steve's head, causing him to drop the gun and eventually pass out from the pain. He was promptly arrested and charged with armed robbery. The media would give him the nickname "Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man" as a result of his strange physiology. Security camera footage of his attempted robbery would later be aired on the new program World of Wut? during the program's weekly "Stupid criminal spotlight" segment.[1]
Powers and abilities[]
Powers[]
- Meta-human physiology: Steve was left to sit in the chamber for his procedure for too long, resulting in his physiology being drastically changed.
- Shapeshifting: Steve's body is a mismatched fusion of animal, vegetable and mineral. His secondary head appears to function separately to his human head, though they seem to be close. Whether or not this form affords him any other abilities is yet to be seen.
Weaknesses[]
- Non-Cohesive Physiology: Steve Larson's dinosaur head is a completely separate personality, and, being a dinosaur, is completely feral. Because of this, it has a tendency to lash out at Steve's human head at inopportune times, such as during an attempted robbery.[1]
