- "What's she doing in the time stream?"
- —Larry Trainor[src]
The Time Stream is a temporal zone that allows anyone to travel between space-time with the necessary requirements.
History[]
By stealing Laura De Mille's's time machine, Rita Farr had begun to travel in the Time Stream, observing different things such as a floating corgi, a knight, and her rival Isabel Feathers, who was trapped after running into Laura, before Rita ended up accidentally traveling to 1917.
After confronting Laura in 1949 and knowing that she would travel to the future to eliminate the creations of Niles Caulder by the Brotherhood of Evil, Rita recovered the time machine to return to the future, crossing the Time Stream again, recovering her memories and making a stop in Codsville for her past self to briefly reunite with his late lover, Malcolm DuPont, in the Afterlife after being temporarily killed by Samuelson, finally returning to 2021 to reunite with the Sisterhood of Dada.
Since Cliff Steele could feel again, the Doom Patrol decided to celebrate by traveling to Florida with the machine through the Time Stream, crossing paths with Isabel, whom they decided not to let in, causing the machine to end up traveling to 2042, where they discovered that the world was destroyed by the Buttpocalypse until they quickly returned to 2022 after seeing the threat. In unknown ways, the deity Immortus possessed Isabel's body, freeing her from the Time Stream after being summoned by his agents.
